Are you approaching stress all wrong?

[The Way We Approach Stress is All Wrong]

Mediation works
Exercise works
Rest works
Time management works
Talking to someone works
More consistent sleep works

In fact the Harvard Business review put together a manual for “Stress Management” and “Burnout” on all the things that work and it’s good, really good.

Tools are great. For “Management” but who want to manage stress?

Nobody.

We want to remove it.

Bare with me.

Is it possible to be doing all of the tools and be stressed?

Yes.

Is it possible to be doing all of the tools and be even more stressed than before?

Yes.

Is it possible to be doing none of them and not be stressed?

Yes.

Stress is not the absense of tools and implementation is hard if you’re stressed.

Stress is a product of the way the brain is interpreting the current environment (there are 6 environments)

This is the result of something called neuro association. Which is powerful survival mechanism but also requires management so that the brain doesn’t start encouraging surivial based behaviours where calm strategic ones would better serve.

I work with my clients to implement what works for them but I also teach them to rewire their brain 🧠 so that they can look, feel and perform how they want to what ever the environment and what ever the tools using self directed neuroplasticity.

If you want to find out more PM me YES 🙌 and we can talk and stuff.
