Not one diet works, it's not out there so stop looking.
There was a time though when your
body told you what to eat, how much to eat,
how fast to eat. When to eat.
When to stop eating. It just knew.
Then we started noticing other people.
We started caring what they thought about us. We wanted to fit in and the media told us what we needed to look like to make that happen. Our parents and schools imprinted these things on us with the best of intention but still most often as a result of the media and governments influence on them rather than their own hard won experiencal knowledge.
So we stopped listen to the genetic masterpiece that is our brain, the most incredible thing ever created and started listen to stories and marketing and our own emotions around them.
They shouted so loud that we couldn't
hear what our bodies were telling us.
So we medicated our hunger with grazing,
we punish our body's with long cardiovascular exercise.
We started looking externally at other people and ourselves for proof of whether the plan was working or not.
We let our fears and anxieties control
our eating.
But don't worry, those 'voices' are still there.
We just need to turn down the other voices.
- you'll get fat if you eat more- that's not the voice
- don't eat too much - that's not you
- This is good- that's not the voice
-This is bad - that's not the voice
How do I want to feel? - that's the voice,
that's all it says.
Then go in search of what creates that.
Go back to basics. Eliminate all but the most natural antibiotic free, pesticide free, nutrient dense local food and run an experiment.
