This is leadership

Think of something you currently do that you wish you didn’t…

Do you have it in mind?

Have you struggled to stop 🛑 despite knowing the cost of doing it, the logic and benefits of stopping?

Have you tried both carrot and stick?

I’m guessing the answer is yes.

Think of something in your life that you have consistently put off doing.

It might be a bit of life admin, it might be a difficult conversation, it might be something that would better secure your families financial future or your health.

Can you recognise that despite your awareness of the cost and the benefits you still find yourself resisting and procrastinating?

Think of an area where you lack confidence. Conflict perhaps, feedback, speaking with large groups.

Do you sometimes put those things off, de-prioritise, think of other things to do instead?

- - - - - - - -

Think about your to do list. How often do the things on that list not get done?

Do you allow emails, slack or requests for your time to derail you?

- - - - - - - -

Think about your mind,

Do you struggle switching off, being present, worrying, procrastinating, does a lack of clarity often leave you feeling overwhelmed and stressed?

- - - - - - - -

I could go on but this is my point. Leadership is first recognising these things in yourself.

It is then understanding the mechanisms behind them. Why they happen and the solution to them.

It is then resolving them in yourself and then creating an organisation that systematically helps others to remove them too.

Leadership is supporting everyone in the organisation to clarity, direction, focus and strategy…

So that they experience freedom, fulfilment, excellence, and connection.

Where are you on the above 👆?

Do you know how to simply and systematically move past these challenges?

Do you know how to simply and systematically help others do the same?

If you answered yes to the above, congratulations you are in the very tiny minority.

If you answered no, are you ready to become a master leader?

I’ve got a couple of spaces for those ready to master the concepts and practises of neuroscience leadership.
