What I've achieve this year...
Every year on my anniversary of moving to Denmark I’ve done a
This year I achieved post.
I’ve really enjoyed them actually, sort of a way of summing up my year and making plans for the new one.
• 50 podcast interview with leaders in Denmark.
• Helped 25 C level clients to remove overwhelm, reduce hours, improve energy and reconnect with their families.
• Went skiing twice, stayed in France for a month.
• 15 weekends at the summer house.
• Spoke at TEDxFrederiksberg
• Worked with companies in England, Scotland, Sweden, US, Jutland, Copenhagen.
• Daily school pick up or drop off
Those were some highlights of years past.
Then over the last few years life has been very different.
Travel has been restricted as well as a lot of face to face stuff but more than that I’ve made a conscious effort to cut away.
Turning down talking opportunities, Not writing a book, not recording podcasts, not seeking to add more.
Rather seeking to refine, remove, think, slow down, improve, develop.
Reading more and making more notes.
Reviewing sessions to takeaway more learnings.
Refining who I help and how I can be of greatest support.
Writing pages and pages of notes for me.
Developing neuroscience hypothesis and testing them in my own life.
It doesn’t create a list of BIG wins or highlights for the highlight real but it does create more freedom, more fulfilment and more promise for the future.
Since 2004 my business has always grown through word of mouth.
It was many years before I could clearly see what that meant.
It meant that if I double down on creating client results I would create even more freedom for myself and for my clients.
Often that can take you in the direction of trying to get them to do what you think works but that never works.
Transformation only comes from supporting others to clarity of their own.
So this is my years sum up, slightly different, slightly ahead of time, less glamorous, more free.
