3 Awareness’s that all great leaders have

Awareness that they are ignorant, incompetent and inconsistent in that they don’t know everything, they haven’t mastered every skill and they struggle with consistency in some areas of their life.

They must remain DEEPLY in touch with this fact.

Why?

Because the greatest fear that all humans have is the fear of being judged as ignorant, incompetent or inconsistent. AKA not good enough.

When there is conflict, this fear is at the root, when there is stress, when there is misalignment, when someone is saying one thing and doing another, when you just can’t figure out why someone is doing what they are doing, this is at the root.

The leader that knows this and builds their communication and leadership principles and practises around it can become a GREAT leader.

We are all ignorant, incompetent and inconsistent in more areas that we are not.

The more people that are in on the joke the happier the organisation.
