I’ll FINALLY be happy when I have the dream business.

When I achieve a higher profit

When I achieve the big exit

When I float the company

When I have the dream business I’ll FINALLY have the dream life.

^^ That’s the message we are sold as business owners, founders or CEO’s.

So we fight, we hustle, we graft and we sacrifice our health, our family and our important relationships to build something...

Something great.

Something that feels so close to the promised land

But never quite delivers.

And it won’t, not ever, the formula is the wrong way around.

While you’re focusing on the future you’re doing everything but living now.

The dream experience of business and the dream life are a side effect of creating the dream self and the dream present, right now.

Not by achievements or adding in a load of traits or rituals to become good enough.

But by integrating all of the past fear, stress and overwhelm by showing up as ALL that you are.

Happiness is an inside job and it can only ever be now.

That doesn’t mean don’t have goals, it doesn’t mean don’t desire more money or the big house.

It doesn’t mean “make sure you enjoy the journey.”

It means that the journey is all there is.
