Most CEOs/leaders secretly suffer with impostor syndrome

That’s a first truth

The second truth is,

It’s NOT a syndrome, not even close.

It’s a feeling

and feelings are the product of the meaning we are extracting from the environment.

What that means is that it’s infinitely solvable.

We’ve all gone from hating a food to loving it from fighting sleep to desiring itz

We change our feelings about things all of the time when our perspectives shift and we find new meaning.

Impostor syndrome of course sits squarely in the realm of being judged as incompetent.

This tends to cause the sufferer to seek to impress and have a solution for every problem.

Ironically the true magic of a CEO or Leader is to gather those with wisdom and align them behind a common goal.

When we follow the idea that we need to be the provider of wisdom we feed the beast.

That’s the first part.

The second part is to locate your own Majik the 4 areas of genius that you have always had and have most served you both in achieving your goals and getting out of holes.

If you take something away from this let it be this.

Impostor syndrome does not exist. It is an away from emotion based 100% on your interpretation of the environment which can change in an instant.
