I Don’t set Goals

I Don’t set Goals

Not in the conventional sense anyway.

I do set outcomes or things that I will notice if I am showing up purposefully, with clarity, confidence and certainty.

I don’t set arbitrary dates or numbers that serve only to take me or the people I am working with out of the present moment and into a state of stress and overwhelm and away from creativity, rationality and communication.

Financial goals take me out of coach mode and into sales mode.

Making my clients goals my goals serves to take me from extractor to instructors as I move from who they are being to what they should be doing.

...I have found this a sure fire way to create a life of the confusion, anxiety, nervous energy of constantly chasing.

While closing the door on freedom, fun, fulfilment and often missing out on the HELL YES opportunities that arrive when I am focused on who I am being.

Yet despite not setting goals my business continues to grow in ways I could not have planned or even chased after.

My clients continue to experience outcomes beyond what they imagined or thought possible.

I continue to maintain a freedom of time, location, relationships and income that allows my door to remain open for the next HELL YES experience to come along.

Human being NOT human doing.
