2 Simple Steps for CEO's to succeed

When you’re the global CEO of 8 companies all relying on you to provide strategy, direction, focus, clarity and support the stakes are pretty high.

Now imagine you’re in chronic pain 90% of the time, your energy is shot and you’re averaging 3 hours of sleep a night.

Layer on top of that the loss of hope that comes with multiple medications being the only thing that gives any type of support and you’ve been using those medications for 5 years.

AND the doctors have told you you’ll be taking them for the rest of your life.

That’s a pretty stressful situation without the chronic pain, inflammation and insomnia.

It’s hard to imagine not having a breakdown with all of that on top as well as all different time zones and international travel.

We hit pause and took a day out at my summer house to get some clarity, a clear diagnosis and a strategy that didn’t require adding in a load of tool and exercises to an already over burdened schedule.

Fast forward 3 weeks and the pain had gone.

Completely.

Fast forward another 6 and energy was up significantly from a 3 to a 7 out of 10.

Another few weeks and sleep has been consistently above 6 hours for two months.

I’ve been working with pain, stress and energy for 16 years now but I stopped working on symptoms over 10 years ago.

The body and brain are cybernetic organisms.

They are a system of systems all working together.

No system works alone, no system get injuried alone, no system repairs alone.

Systems reacts when a threat is perceived and when the threat is not removed inflammation becomes chronic.

We took two simple steps:

1. Locate and remove threats

2. Created rituals to support daily threat removal


When you learn how to work with brain and body by creating and environment for it to heal itself rather than working against it to what has been diagnosed as broken everything gets easier.
