Are your actions your cause...

Vegan

Bloated, low energy, regularly sick, waves of exhaustion.

Yet a staunch defender of the philosophy.

That’s not an uncommon combination.

Crossfitter

Constant aching, back pain, bloated.

Preacher of the merits of CrossFit.

This isn’t a post about Veganism or CrossFit, and the merits or failings there of.

I could just as easily said something about marketing, leadership, parenting but these two illustrate the point pretty well.

Much of what prevents us from achieving what we want to achieve and feeling how we want to feel is being married to what we WISH was true or the loudest preachers SAY is true even when our reality runs counter to it.

It’s feels scary to say I don’t know.

The way I’m working isn’t working.

This is my current reality.

My current actions are the cause.

But it’s the only thing that’s true.

It’s the path we all have to take and we all get caught up in narrative over reality way more than we realise. Myself included.
