Here are some of the delightful symptoms of a nervous system in THREAT.

These are really important because we tend to put them down to things other that stress which causes us to take all sorts of unnecessary measures and think that we’re broken, which is never fun and creates a cycle of frustration.

Constipation, gas or diarrhoea.

Lack of sexually intimacy with partner

Frequent experience anxiety, worry or inability to relax

Sadness or depressed

Constantly low energy

Very little exercise

Difficulty falling asleep

Waking up during the night and struggle to get back to sleep

Waking up tired no matter how long you’ve slept

Waking up with joint pain and stiffness

Heart racing or beating more heavily

Coordination seems worse, frequently dropping or walk into things

More quick to anger and frustration than used to be

Feeling judged or criticised by those around you

People pleasing or avoiding people

Having a lot of arguments

Feeling stressed or overwhelmed

Struggle to cope with everything

Feeling lonely

Regularly comfort eating or drink

Regular colds, illness or stomach pains

Having difficulty focussing

The above are all indicators of a nervous system detecting or perceiving threat.

You don’t need to have all of them, that would be crazy but 3 or 4 perhaps.

When we treat the above as the problems we can spend a lifetime chasing shadows.

When we go straight to the nervous system we go straight to the source.
