They seek comfort in sugar, caffeine, alcohol, food, cigarettes, porn, drugs.

They have tiredness, allergies, illness, poor skin, colds, pain, excess fat, infections.

They often communicate in one of three ways

Using authority or even anger (fight) or

Using constant agreement or avoidance (flight)

or they stop showing up (freeze)

The antidote to this isn’t complicated, it just requires you to make some different decisions and change some perspectives.

The first being an acknowledgement of your current reality.

It’s not ageing, it’s not coincidence, it’s not different for you, you aren’t a random anomaly that has X symptom or action but it’s not stress related.

It’s threat and as such, fixable.

The body fails when under threat for too long. Otherwise it does pretty well on its own.

We take on habits that stimulate or depress us when we are under threat.

We act in self protective ways when we don’t feel safe.
