Searching for Stillness as a leader/ceo/cxo

Searching for Stillness?

When you want to effortlessly
drift off to sleep after an intense
day, stillness is required.

When you want to prioritise among
all of the things you like to do, could
do, are asked to do, stillness.

When you’re facing conflict at home
and you want to de-escalate and
find a solution together, stillness.

When you want to make choices
that serve your energy and health
rather than your cravings right
now, stillness.

When the team are gathered and
you want to avoid dominating and
‘convincing’ and instead create
something together and find
alignment, stillness.

When you’re worried, overwhelmed, anxious, angry, frustrated your level
of stillness is what will determine your
following words and actions.

When you’re searching for the best
decision in order to move yourself,
your family, your life and your company
in a positive direction, stillness.

Everyday we are faced with critical
decisions.

Decisions that will move us towards
where we wish to go.

Decisions that will take us away from
where we wish to go.

It’s is our stillness and our ability to create that stillness in others that determines which direction we move in.

We can either hope for it to be
present or we can learn how to
create it, we can turn it into a daily
practise and begin to master it.
