12 Questions You Should Be Able to Answer as a Leader (that most leaders can’t)

Most leaders that struggle creating a balance harmonious life aren’t struggling because they aren’t intelligent knowledge people.

They are struggling being the systems and process that they currently have in place make it impossible for them to experience the harmony they desire.

They are struggling because they DON’T have simple systems and process in place that guard and protect those things that need protecting in order to move away from overwhelm and into balance and harmony.

Something that EVERY good leader knows is that it is PROCESS that leads to SUCCESS. You don’t WILLPOWER the market to want what you have.

Yet most leaders have a process that leads to overwhelm and overwork in their business and no process for success in their energy, mental and physical health and relationships.


  1. What EXACT process do you follow to ensure you have a high and balanced amount of energy for BOTH your working day AND for your family when you get home?


2. What specific system do you use to support your team to create their own clarity and understanding so that you don’t get stuck answering the same questions and fixing the same problems making you the “always on call” bottle neck of the company?


3. What simple system do you employ to GUARANTEE that you remain the constant source of presence and calm that your team and clients are relying on you to be?


4. How do you protect, maintain and grow your relationships during the busiest times in your business?


5. How do you maintain a proactive approach to your day so that you don’t get dragged in to operating reactively despite so many external demands on your time?


6. What process do you have in place to safe guard against CONSTANTLY having to leverage hard work and time to GET THINGS DONE working long into the night draining your health, energy, performance and relationships and eventually pushing them to breaking point?


7. What routines and rituals do you have in place to MAKE SURE that what ever else is going on that your health, fitness and body fat levels are maintained or improving?


8. How do you create and maintain a high level of confidence and certainty in the board room when positive outcomes are outside of your control so that they ALWAYS feel like the company is in the best possible hands and you feel in control?


9. What system do you use to protect your energy and focus when business dinners and drinks seem to be pulling you in the direction of tiredness, low energy, poor health and being reactive at home?


10. What process do you have in place to make stress, overwhelm and anxiety impossible to experience or are quickly removable if it does arise?

Most struggling leaders that I've spoken to have (at most) 3-4 of these elements dialled in.

The ones that are doing pretty well have 5-6 meaning that they're still only working at 50% getting overwhelmed and slipping in and out of habits that don’t service them.
