How I transformed what I believe were life long traits

I was so honoured to be invited to talk about the science of behavioural change at Tedx Fredriksberg. I thought long and hard about how to deliver my message of curiosity being the key to personal transformation rather than willpower.

What I landed on was to tell my own personal story. There are plenty of Tedx talks on the theory but few on putting it into action. I realised that to talk about others experience it can often seem like I am not exempt from these laws of the brain and of course I’m not.

In this talk I speak about my own journey from being lazy, shy, unintelligent, smoker and a heavy drinker to separating myself from those habits and achieving things that those labels would imply I could not all without the need for motivation, willpower or manning up in any way.

I hope you enjoy.
