State first, everything else later
This happened.
How ever unbelievable it might seem.
It happened.
It's still happening now.
This morning I arrived at school with Annabelle after an awesome ride in.
No wind today which is a treat that happens about one day a week and serves to make you feel like you are flying along.
We arrived 8 minutes early and as we turned the corner I can't quite believe what I saw.
A band.
On the roof.
A singer and a row of 20 children with instruments.
I have somehow walked into a Disney film,
Somewhere on that stage was no doubt a children who with the help of their special talent had triumphed over overwhelming odds against them to be there.
They started to play,
and dance,
and sing.
The gathered crowd all started to join in in their own way.
Dancing...
*I promise this is true
Singing
or just tapping their feet.
But everyone, changed their state.
Whether they were tired, sad, distracted,
They become joyful and energised.
The Danes commitment to uplift themselves is amazing.
Changing our state is a powerful way of priming ourselves for the day we want to have.
A cold shower
A 5 minute workout
A walk in the fresh air
10 power rapid deep breaths in
Music
It can all move us into a more positive state and action is state dependent.
If you want to take more positive action then commit to raising your state more often through the day.
Especially before those times when you most need it.
